- What is the difference between coaching and Therapy? Therapy typically focuses on healing past wounds, processing trauma, and treating mental health conditions like depression, OCD, or PTSD. Therapists are licensed to diagnose and treat mental illness. *** Important: Many women benefit from both coaching and therapy! They can work beautifully together.
- How long does coaching take? It varies based on your goals. Some clients work with me for 3-6 months, others for a year or more. We reasses periodically in our time together.
- Do you take insurance? No. Coaching is not a medical service and is not covered my insurance. I offer private pay options and discuss pricing during our discovery call.
- What are your credentials? I am a Board-Certified Master Mental Health Coach (BCMMHC) and Certified Trauma Informed Coach (CTIC). I have also completed multiple courses through the American Association of Christian Counselors. ***While I am trained in mental health coaching, I do not diagnose or treat mental illness.
- What if I'm not sure coaching is right for me? That's exactly what the discovery call is for. We will talk about where you are, what you're hoping for, and whether coaching is a good fit.
